Privacy Policy
Last updated: 2 August 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Aretexe (“Aretexe”, “we”, “us”) collects, uses, shares, and protects personal data when you visit aretexe.com (the “Site”) or use any mobile application we publish (each, an “App”, and together with the Site, the “Services”).
Aretexe acts as the data controller for the personal data described in this policy. Our registered details are:

If you have any question about this policy, contact us at support@aretexe.com.
1. Data we collect
1.1 Data you give us directly
- Contact and support data. If you email us, we receive your email address, the content of your message, and any other information you choose to include in it.
- Account data. If an App offers accounts, we collect the identifiers needed to create and secure one — typically an email address and an authentication credential. We will state this inside the App at the point of collection.
1.2 Data collected automatically
- Usage and analytics data. Screens viewed, features used, session length, and similar interaction events, used to understand how the Services are used.
- Diagnostic and crash data. Crash traces, error logs, performance metrics, and the state of the application at the time of a fault.
- Device and technical data. Device model, operating system version, application version, language, region, coarse network information, and a non-permanent app or device identifier.
We do not collect precise location data, contacts, photos, microphone, or health data unless an App specifically requires it for a feature you have chosen to use. Where that is the case, the App will request your permission through the operating system first, and you can withdraw that permission at any time in your device settings.
1.3 Children
Our Services are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13, consistent with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA). Where a higher minimum age applies in your country, that age applies instead. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, contact us and we will delete it.
2. How we use data
- To provide, operate, and maintain the Services.
- To diagnose faults, monitor stability, and improve performance and reliability.
- To understand which features are used so that we can improve them.
- To respond to your support requests and correspondence.
- To measure the effectiveness of our marketing, where you have consented to this.
- To comply with our legal obligations and to establish, exercise, or defend legal claims.
Where the EU or UK GDPR applies to you, our legal bases are: performance of a contract (providing the Services you request), our legitimate interests (keeping the Services secure, stable, and improving), your consent (analytics and marketing measurement, where consent is required), and compliance with legal obligations.
We do not sell personal data, and we do not share personal data for cross-context behavioural advertising.
3. Third-party services
We use a small number of third-party providers to operate the Services. Each processes data only on our instructions, under a data processing agreement, and only for the purposes below.
- Hosting. The Site is hosted by Vercel Inc., which processes request logs and IP addresses in order to serve the site and protect it from abuse.
- Analytics. [ANALYTICS PROVIDER] — collects the usage and interaction data described in section 1.2 so that we can understand how the Services are used.
- Crash and performance reporting. [CRASH REPORTING PROVIDER] — collects the diagnostic data described in section 1.2 so that we can identify and fix faults.
- Email. Our email provider processes the messages you send us so that we can receive and reply to them.
The bracketed providers above will be named specifically before any App is submitted to the Apple App Store or Google Play, so that this policy matches exactly what each App does.
4. International transfers
We are based in the United States, and personal data we collect is processed there. Some of our providers operate in other countries, including in the European Union. If you are located outside the United States, using the Services involves transferring your data to the United States, where privacy laws may differ from those in your country. Where we transfer personal data from the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, we rely on appropriate safeguards — such as the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses — to protect it.
5. Retention
- Support correspondence: retained for up to 24 months after the matter is resolved.
- Analytics data: retained in identifiable form for up to 14 months, then aggregated or deleted.
- Crash and diagnostic data: retained for up to 12 months.
- Account data: retained for as long as the account is active, and deleted within 30 days of a deletion request, unless we are legally required to keep it for longer.
6. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to: access the personal data we hold about you; correct inaccurate data; request deletion; object to or restrict processing; withdraw consent at any time; receive your data in a portable format; and lodge a complaint with the relevant supervisory authority.
If you are a United States resident, you may complain to the Federal Trade Commission or to your state Attorney General. Residents of states with comprehensive privacy laws — including California, Colorado, Connecticut, Texas, and Virginia — may have additional rights under those laws, such as the right to opt out of targeted advertising or the sale of personal data. As set out in section 2, we do not sell personal data and do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising. If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, you may complain to your national data protection authority.
To exercise any of these rights, email support@aretexe.com with the subject line “Privacy request”. We will respond within 30 days. We will not discriminate against you for exercising a right.
7. Security
We apply appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal data, including encryption in transit, restricted access on a need-to-know basis, and regular review of our providers. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. Cookies and similar technologies
The Site uses only the cookies strictly necessary to serve and secure it. If we introduce analytics or marketing cookies, we will ask for your consent first and provide a way to change your choice.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as our Services develop. We will change the “last updated” date above, and for material changes we will provide a more prominent notice in the affected App or on the Site.
10. Contact
